Gwen Walz to Campaign for Vice President Kamala Harris in Arizona
Exciting news for Arizona! Gwen Walz, the first lady of Minnesota and wife of vice presidential candidate Gov. Tim Walz, will be in Arizona on September 16th to campaign for Vice President Kamala Harris. This marks Gwen Walz’s first visit to the Grand Canyon State, and she will be making stops in Phoenix, Flagstaff, and Kingman.
The campaign event aims to highlight the vision for a brighter and more hopeful future under Vice President Harris and Governor Walz, in contrast to the agenda put forth by Donald Trump and J.D. Vance. With just under 55 days until Election Day, Mrs. Walz and local Arizona speakers will emphasize the importance of this election and the stark differences between the candidates.
Tim Walz recently visited the Valley on the same day as the presidential debate, while Vice President Kamala Harris made a prior visit a few weeks ago. On the opposing side, former President Donald Trump and Republican presidential candidate has visited various locations in Arizona, including Tucson, Glendale, and the southern border. Republican vice presidential candidate J.D. Vance also visited the Valley recently.
