This year, the world is getting to know the real Jesse Luketa, also known as Lu’ in the music industry.
Cardinals linebacker Jesse Luketa is making waves this season. Securing a spot on the roster, Luketa is a key player in the team, specializing in rushing the quarterback. With the beginning of his third season with the Cardinals, the former 7th-round pick has captured headlines.
From calling JJ Watt just moments after his wisdom teeth surgery to having a day named after him back in Ottawa, Canada, Luketa’s off-field antics have made him a fan favorite. Last year, he even made national news when a local family helped him get to a game after his car broke down.
But beyond his football career, Luketa is making a name for himself in the music industry. Lu’ has released three mainstream singles – “Over”, “Nerves”, and his debut single “FEVA” – showcasing his unique blend of English and French-speaking cultures and African heritage.
While his dream may have been reaching the NFL, Luketa’s true passion has always been music. Growing up in the church where he sang in the choir and played instruments, Luketa considers himself an Afrobeat artist, creating music that transports listeners to another world.
