As of September 8, the Preacher Fire has burned 3 acres and is currently 0% contained. Fire officials are gearing up for firing activities near Forest Service Road 64, while residents in Thompson Draw 2, Tonto Village, and Diamond Point Summer Homes are under “SET” status.
