The Passing of Chase: Scottsdale Police Comfort Dog
The Scottsdale Police Department announced the loss of Chase, a beloved police comfort dog who served the community for nearly seven years.
Chase joined the department at a young age and dedicated his time to the Police Crisis Intervention Service, where he provided comfort to victims, witnesses, and officers. His role in the department was pivotal in helping individuals navigate traumatic experiences with his calming presence.
Tragically, Chase passed away just before his 8th birthday after battling cancer. The Scottsdale Police Department expressed their appreciation for Chase’s years of service and acknowledged Anthony Pagliuca for his care and love for Chase during his time with the department.
A heartfelt post on Facebook from the Scottsdale Police Department bid farewell to Chase, wishing him peace in his eternal rest.
As we remember Chase and his contributions, it’s essential to honor his memory and the impact he had on the community.
