Tragic Discovery Made While Searching for Missing Man in Pinal County
Over the weekend, Pinal County deputies made a heartbreaking discovery while on a search mission for a missing man. The body of an unidentified individual was found, prompting an investigation to determine if it is the missing individual they were looking for.
The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office reported that deputies were scouring the area near Sommerfield and Lamb roads in Eloy, Arizona in search of 62-year-old Monty Reuling, who had been missing since August 26. During their search efforts, at approximately 1:15 p.m., the deputies came across a deceased body in an irrigation canal in the vicinity.
The body has since been transferred to the Pinal County Medical Examiner’s Office, where procedures will be conducted to confirm the identity of the deceased individual and ascertain the cause of death.
