Tragedy struck in Bovina, Mississippi on Saturday morning when a commercial bus overturned on Interstate 20, resulting in the deaths of seven passengers and leaving dozens injured. The Mississippi Highway Patrol reported that six passengers were pronounced dead at the scene, with another succumbing to their injuries at a hospital.
The bus, traveling westbound, veered off the highway near Bovina in Warren County and flipped over, with no other vehicles involved in the accident. The National Transportation Safety Board attributed the crash to tire failure, highlighting the importance of vehicle maintenance and safety.
