Welcome to the Hispanic Heritage Weekend at Chase Field!
Get ready for a three-day immersive celebration of Latino culture at Chase Field with the Arizona Diamondbacks!
The festivities kick off on Friday, August 30th and run through Sunday, September 1st with games against the Los Angeles Dodgers, highlighting different cultures and groups within the Latino community each day, including the Caribbean, Central America, and Mexico.
Friday night will start with a celebration of Cuban heritage, featuring pre-game music by Josiel Pérez and Víctor Calee’s Cuban Connections, as well as a salsa dance class on La Terraza led by David Olarte and Carla León Celya.
Saturday will celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Mexican Pacific League with appearances from all the teams in La Terraza, as well as the presence of the Caribbean Series trophy to be held in Mexicali, Mexico. Before the game, enjoy performances by Ballet Folklórico Los Mextucaz and Ballet Folklórico Este Es México.
After an exciting game, stick around for a post-game concert by Grupo Control, presented by Waymo. The group’s two decades of music reflect the culture of Las Cruces, offering a free concert for all attending fans. Field passes or VIP Meet & Greet packages are available at dbacks.com/hhw.
Sunday will honor the heritage of the Dominican Republic with special recognitions, including a pre-game ceremony for the Student of the Month from the Academy of the Dominican Republic, Vince Sánchez, and performances by Bella Q Dance Studio, Compañía de Danza Folklórica, and a bachata dance class on La Terraza taught by Lauren Hardcastle and Pedro González from Noche Latina en el Duce.
