Describing Rachel as a fighter, Kim expressed her commitment to pursuing justice on her daughter’s behalf. Despite the active investigation, the case has grown cold due to the lack of leads and information.
At just 19 years old, Rachel was fatally shot in her Gilbert apartment in June 2022. The circumstances surrounding her death remain unclear, with no motive, weapon, or witnesses identified. This senseless tragedy has left the Hansen family devastated and desperate for closure.
In an effort to reignite the investigation, the family has enlisted the help of a private investigator and printed fliers to be distributed throughout Gilbert and beyond. They are determined to raise awareness and encourage anyone with information to come forward.
Despite facing challenges and roadblocks in their quest for justice, the Hansen family remains hopeful and determined. Kim emphasized the importance of keeping Rachel’s memory alive and urged the community to support their efforts in finding answers.
