House Fire Displaces Residents and Animals in Laveen
The Phoenix fire department reported a devastating house fire near 68th Avenue and Broadway Road in Laveen, causing significant damage to the property and displacing several residents and animals.
Firefighters responded to the scene around 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday to find a single-story residence engulfed in flames and smoke. As they worked to contain the fire, multiple propane tank explosions occurred on the property, adding to the intensity of the situation.
Despite the challenges, the fire was eventually brought under control without any reported injuries. However, the affected residents and animals will need to find temporary shelter while the firefighters continue to extinguish hot spots on the property.
The cause of the fire remains unknown at this time, as officials investigate the incident further.
