An 80-Year-Old Woman Killed in Violent Carjacking in Seattle
Tragedy struck in Seattle as an 80-year-old woman lost her life in a violent carjacking incident. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene after being dragged by her vehicle by the suspect who fled the scene.
According to a spokesperson from the Seattle Police Department (SPD), the incident occurred on Tuesday morning just before 10 a.m. at the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Way East and East Harrison Street. The woman was found in the street, and despite efforts to save her, she could not be revived.
The victim, known as a “neighborhood dog walker,” was reported to have been carjacked by the suspect. She was dragged by her vehicle for a short distance before the suspect drove off in her car. The police are currently treating the case as a homicide and are actively investigating. They are looking for a male suspect in connection with the crime.
