Rescue Mission: Pinal County Sheriff’s Office Saves Dog
A stormy Saturday night and Sunday morning kept the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office busy in San Tan Valley, Arizona. Deputies received calls reporting an animal in distress and sprang into action to rescue a dog trapped in a canal.
The dog’s rescuers arrived at the scene around 1:50 a.m. after hearing the cries of the distressed animal. With swift action, deputies located the dog near Hunt Highway and Bella Vista Road, pulling it to safety from the water.
The rescued dog was then turned over to Pinal County Animal Care for further assistance.
