The Search for Lily: A Father’s Plea
Liliana Munguia, a 17-year-old girl from Arizona, has been missing since August 5th. She was last seen on home security footage leaving her family home in the Gila River Indian Community in the early hours of the morning. It is believed that she flew to Des Moines to meet an older man she met online.
Her father, Juan Munguia, is desperate for help as he searches for his daughter. He expressed his fears and worries, saying, “I’m worried I won’t be able to see her grow up to be the beautiful daughter, the beautiful woman that she’s becoming, that everybody is so proud of.”
He described Lily as a passionate young woman who aspires to be a teacher and is known for her love and compassion towards others. She was last seen wearing a pink tank top and black and maroon Deadpool pajama pants, with long black hair and brown eyes.
Juan made a heartfelt plea, “We’re all behind her and we’re all supporting her and we just want her back. It’s dangerous out there, but we love her very much and we really, really want her home.”
If you have any information about Liliana or her whereabouts, contact the FBI’s Phoenix Field Office at 623-466-1999 or submit a tip online here. Let’s all come together to bring Lily home.
