Three Teens Arrested for Armed Robbery in West Phoenix
Over the weekend, three suspects were detained by police following an alleged armed robbery in west Phoenix. The incident occurred on Saturday evening, and the city’s police department stated that three teenagers were arrested in connection with the crime.
According to Phoenix police, the incident took place near Thomas Road and 75th Avenue around 5 p.m. Officers responded to reports of an armed robbery, where multiple suspects with firearms robbed a teenage boy.
The victim was able to provide a description of the suspects and the vehicle they were using. Police located the suspect vehicle and attempted to initiate a traffic stop. After a pursuit and surveillance, the suspects’ vehicle was located and the three teenagers were arrested.
All three suspects, who are teenage boys, were charged with multiple offenses, including armed robbery. Police recovered at least one firearm during the arrest.
