Teenagers Arrested for Series of Valley Burglaries
A group of five teenagers have recently been apprehended by Glendale and Phoenix police for their involvement in a string of thefts and burglaries plaguing the Valley area.
Rampant Crime Spree
Between June and August of 2024, the juveniles embarked on a crime spree, targeting numerous residential properties across the Valley. Their modus operandi involved breaking into vehicles, stealing garage door openers, and gaining entry to homes through the garages to pilfer valuables.
Caught in the Act
One of the suspects admitted to authorities that they would resell the stolen items for monetary gain. Fortunately, Glendale police were able to track down the perpetrators with the help of a license plate number. The teenagers, aged between 14 and 16, are now facing multiple felony charges.
Brazen Criminal Behavior
Law enforcement officials described the young suspects as “brazen” in their approach to committing these crimes. Residents are urged to report any information that could aid in the ongoing investigation.
