Child and Adult Injured in Peoria Crash
Tragedy struck near 83rd and Northern avenues in Peoria as a child and an adult were hospitalized following a crash on Friday morning, according to Peoria police.
Although the severity of their injuries remains undisclosed, officials have confirmed that the pair were taken to the hospital as a precautionary measure.
Reports indicate that two vehicles were involved in the crash, causing disruptions at the intersection. Police are advising for patience until tow trucks arrive to clear the roadway.
At this point, it is not clear whether speed or impairment played a role in the incident.
