Update: Woman in Critical Condition After Being Hit by Car
Phoenix police have reported that a woman is currently in critical condition at a local hospital following a crash in central Phoenix. The incident occurred early Saturday morning near 32nd Street and Indian School Road.
Upon arriving at the scene, officers found the woman lying on the road with a car stopped nearby. The fire department quickly transported her to the hospital for treatment. Fortunately, the driver of the vehicle was determined to be unimpaired.
According to police reports, the woman was moving her own wheelchair across the street when she was struck by the car. She remains in critical condition at this time, and the intersection where the crash occurred remains closed.
