Sad News from Southern Arizona

Tragedy struck in Pima County, Arizona, when a 31-year-old driver lost his life in a collision involving a school bus. Brian Scupin-Dursema was taken to the hospital and later succumbed to his injuries, as confirmed by the Pima County Sheriff’s Department.

The Accident

The fatal incident occurred when Scupin-Dursema’s vehicle collided head-on with a school bus on Arivaca Road. The preliminary investigation indicates that the bus was traveling westbound and nearing a curve when the tragic accident occurred.

The school bus driver suffered minor injuries, and fortunately, there were no passengers on board at the time of the crash.

Ongoing Investigation

The authorities are currently conducting an investigation to determine the circumstances that led to the collision. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families of those involved in this heartbreaking incident.
